The story of Donna Bella Designs is a melding of two uniquely different stories. In 2003 Franco Dsouza purchased Seaich Corp., a family owned Card and Souvenir business, which had been a long-time supplier to his personal gift outlets at locations around the Salt Lake Valley. Franco’s entrepreneurial spirit and retail background helped him to grow Seaich by establishing retail channels and introducing unique imported gifts from around the world. Growing this company into a multi million dollar wholesale and retail business
The second leg of the Seaich story was launched in 2006 when Franco, assisted by his wife and designer, Deyse Manfrin, launched a brand of fine Italian leather handbags under the Donna Bella Designs brand. Deyse, who was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, was tutored as a young woman in the art of design by her grandmother, who descended from a long line of talented and successful designers. This led to the creation of beautifully designed high-end leather goods. Donna Bella handbags are not only beautiful but they are a great value, manufactured using the highest quality Italian leathers with double stitched and sealed seams, complimentary cloth linings, and metal hardware.
Seaich Corp. continues to bring products and gifts to its buying public from around the world.
Most recently, Seaich has successfully expanded into the wholesale arena, placing products in some of the nation’s largest retail store chains. Implementing wholesale operations into its processes has allowed Seaich Corp. to expand the number and type of great gifts and specialty items they offer while developing the ability to more completely serve customers across the country.
In recent years, Seaich Corp./Donna Bella Designs has been recognized as one of Goldman Sachs Top 10,000 Small Businesses. The company was also recognized by the Mountain West Capital Network as one of Utah’s Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies.
